The East–West toll road, categorised as A8 Târgu Mureș–Iași (Romanian: Autostrada Est-Vest (A8)), is a planned highway in Romania, with a view to cross the jap Carpathians to connect the historic regions of Moldavia and Transylvania. Pre-feasibility studies carried out in 2007 have been accompanied by using feasibility research in 2009-2011. As of February 2015, the feasibility have a look at revision and replace is being conducted by way of personal contractors.
