This list is so, so lame – “Train Train” by Blackfoot isn’t even on your list, it should be in the Top 5, at the very least. There are dozens more that are 10x better than most of the cheese listed here.

The best “train song” in my opinion is the French version of “500 Miles” – J’entends siffle le train”. Back in the mid 60s it was recorded by a female singer but unfortunately I lost my single recording and cannot find her details online. Anyone able to help?
